Driving
You can park for free in lot 43. It is about 400 yards from the ERL. (Leave enough time to enjoy the walk through the Bush complex. For example, if you look carefully at the Monument to Freedom by Veryl Goodnight you will find the names of some of the 900 people shot and killed trying to get past the Berlin Wall.)
You can drive right up to the front door of the Allen Building and park in lot 111, but you need to know the parking rules. There are no parking hassles on the weekend. On weekday evenings (after 5:30pm) lot 111 requires any valid TAMU parking hang tag. Weekdays require a lot 111 hang tag or a temporary hang tag.

Bus Riding
There is also bus service, which works well during the week. The bus stop is 150 yards from the ERL. Use the east entrance to the Allen Building; it is the one directly in front of you as you cross the road after getting off the bus. The service is infrequent during evenings and weekends.
Currently, Route 5 (Bush) serves the Allen Building. The routes serving the Allen Building change from time to time; check the Transportation Services site for the most current information.

Bike Riding, In-line Skating, or Walking
It is an easy bike ride or skate on a pleasant day. However, we don't advise walking; for example, we are 1.6 miles from the MSC.
